SRF Microneedling Aftercare

• Slight itchiness might occur; please refrain from scratching and use a cold damp towel to soothe the skin. Do not use any cooling or healing agents such as aloe or polysporin.

• Scabbing and pinpoint bleeding are completely normal post treatment. Make sure to leave the skin alone and keep it moisturized. The effects should subside in 5-7 days.

• Avoid direct sunlight exposure for at least 3-5 days before and after your treatment. Also please make sure to use SPF 30+ sunscreen and hats whenever you are in the sun!

• No sauna, steam room, hot shower, chlorine water, or vigorous exercise for at least 24-48 hours after your treatment

• No makeup for at least 24-48 hours, based on your skin sensitivity

• No BHAs/AHAs for at least 5 days before and after your treatment. Higher concentrations may need longer.

• No laser hair removal or any other services at our clinic for 2 weeks before and after your treatment
