Clinic Policies & Treatment Guidelines

Clinic Policies & Treatment Guidelines

To provide every client with a safe, comfortable and professional experience, please review the following policies before booking or attending your appointment at Eternity Laser & Skin Care.

Cancellation, Late Change & No-Show Policy

We value your time and the time of our technicians. Providing adequate notice allows us to offer your appointment to another client and maintain an efficient schedule.

Appointment Changes and Cancellations

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Same-day appointment changes, cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, and missed appointments may be subject to a $75 non-refundable fee.
Any applicable fee must be paid before another appointment can be booked.

Two-Strike Courtesy Policy

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. Our two-strike policy is designed to provide clients with a one-time courtesy while protecting appointment availability.
First occurrence: A courtesy warning will be issued, and the $75 fee will be waived.
Second occurrence: A $75 late cancellation or no-show fee will be charged. Future appointments may also require a deposit or full prepayment.
Repeated late cancellations, appointment changes or missed appointments may affect your ability to book future services. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Our booking system may send appointment confirmations and reminders from a separate 778 outbound number. This number is used for outgoing notifications only, so please do not reply to it.
To cancel, reschedule or ask a question about your appointment, call or text our team directly at 604-339-7719.

Arrival & Check-In

Please arrive approximately 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If this is your first visit, our team will take time to learn about your treatment goals, answer your questions and help you feel comfortable. Before treatment, you will be asked to complete or update a medical history and consent form. This information helps us identify allergies, medications, skin conditions and other factors that may affect your treatment or eligibility. Please inform your technician of any changes to your health, medications, pregnancy status or skincare routine before every appointment. All client information is handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable privacy requirements. Arriving late may shorten your treatment time or require your appointment to be rescheduled.

Gratuities

Our certified technicians are committed to providing excellent service and professional care. Gratuities are always appreciated but never required. If you choose to leave a gratuity, our payment terminals provide the option to select a percentage or enter a custom amount. The amount is entirely at your discretion and should reflect your experience and satisfaction.

Preparing for Your Treatment

Following the appropriate preparation and aftercare instructions supports client safety and helps achieve the best possible treatment experience.
Please contact our team before your appointment if you are uncertain about your eligibility or preparation requirements.
The amount is entirely at your discretion and should reflect your experience and satisfaction.
Laser hair-removal treatments are not performed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
For at least four weeks before your appointment, do not:
  • Wax
  • Tweeze
  • Thread
  • Epilate
  • Bleach the hair in the treatment area
These methods can remove or alter the hair that the laser needs to target. Shaving is permitted and required before treatment.
Please shave the treatment area approximately 24 hours before your appointment. Arrive with the area clean and free from:
  • Makeup
  • Lotion
  • Body oil
  • Deodorant
  • Self-tanner
  • Other topical products
Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds and self-tanning products for at least two weeks before and after treatment. Please tell your technician if the treatment area has recently been exposed to the sun or has developed a tan, burn or irritation.
Some medications and supplements can increase sensitivity to light or affect your skin’s response to treatment.
Please provide your technician with an accurate and current list of medications and supplements before treatment.
Clients who have used isotretinoin, commonly known as Accutane, may need to wait at least six months before receiving laser treatment. Treatment eligibility must be confirmed during your consultation.
Do not stop taking prescribed medication unless instructed by the healthcare professional who prescribed it.

HydraFacial Preparation

Please inform our team if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Certain HydraFacial solutions, boosters or treatment steps may not be appropriate during this time, and treatment eligibility must be confirmed before your appointment.
Avoid Botox, dermal fillers and other cosmetic injectables for three weeks before your HydraFacial unless otherwise directed by your qualified treatment provider.
Please also tell us about any recent cosmetic or medical procedures during your consultation.
Please arrive with a clean face that is free from makeup whenever possible.
If you are coming directly from work or another commitment, makeup remover and cleanser are available at the clinic.
Discontinue retinol and prescription or non-prescription retinoids approximately two weeks before treatment, unless otherwise directed by your healthcare provider.
Avoid strong exfoliating products and acids before and after treatment as recommended by your technician.
Do not resume glycolic acid, retinoids or other active ingredients until your technician advises that your skin is ready.
Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher every day, particularly following your treatment.
Avoid excessive sun exposure and notify us if your skin is sunburned or irritated before your appointment.
Male clients receiving a facial treatment should shave the evening before their appointment, when possible. This allows time for any shaving-related irritation to settle before treatment.

Scarlet RF Microneedling

Scarlet RF combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to support collagen production and improve the appearance of skin texture, fine lines, enlarged-looking pores, acne scars and mild skin laxity. Every treatment begins with a consultation to determine whether Scarlet RF is appropriate for your skin, medical history and treatment goals.
Consultation: Your technician will assess your skin, discuss your concerns and review your medical history.
Preparation: The treatment area will be cleansed, and a topical numbing product may be applied for comfort.
Treatment: The Scarlet RF system uses fine microneedles to deliver controlled radiofrequency energy at selected depths.
Post-treatment care: Appropriate soothing skincare and moisturizer may be applied following the procedure.
For at least two weeks before treatment:
  • Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds.
  • Do not treat sunburned, irritated or actively inflamed skin.
For approximately one week before treatment:
  • Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids and other aggressive skincare products, unless your technician advises otherwise.
  • Tell your technician about all medications and supplements you currently use.
Certain medications and supplements may increase bruising or affect treatment eligibility. Do not stop aspirin, anticoagulants, prescription medication or medically recommended supplements without first consulting the healthcare professional responsible for your care. Scarlet RF microneedling is not performed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Please inform us of active infections, cold sores, open wounds, recent cosmetic procedures or significant changes to your health before treatment.
To support the healing process:
  • Avoid direct sunlight and use broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily.
  • Avoid retinoids, exfoliants, acids and other strong active ingredients for approximately two to three weeks, or until your technician advises that they can be resumed.
  • Do not rub, scratch, pick or exfoliate the treated area.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs and activities that cause excessive heat or sweating for at least 48 hours.
  • Avoid applying makeup for at least 24 hours or as directed by your technician.
  • Use only the gentle skincare products recommended by your technician.
Temporary redness, warmth, sensitivity or mild swelling may occur following treatment. Contact the clinic if you experience an unexpected or concerning reaction.
