Yes. Every laser hair removal journey begins with a free, no-obligation consultation. We’ll discuss your goals, review your skin and hair type, confirm the treatment is suitable for you, and create a personalized treatment plan. All new clients also receive a complimentary underarms laser treatment.
On average six to eight sessions to reach a 60 to 80 per cent reduction in hair growth in a treated area. It depends on the area, your hair colour and thickness, and your hormones. We review as the course goes rather than selling a fixed block up front. Individual results vary.
Most clients describe it as comparable to a hot stone massage, with an occasional mild prickling. The Soprano ICE cools the skin through the contact tip while it works and the handpiece keeps moving. Topical numbing is available if you would prefer it — just ask when you book.
The correct term for the outcome is permanent hair reduction. Follicles that respond to treatment stop producing hair, but hormones and follicles that were dormant during your course mean most people choose an occasional maintenance session afterwards. Individual results vary.
The Soprano ICE carries three wavelengths — 755nm Alexandrite, 810nm Diode and 1064nm Nd:YAG — and the 1064nm in particular is the one used for deeper skin tones. Which one suits you is decided at consultation, and we patch test before a first treatment rather than assuming.
Shave the area within 24 hours. Do not wax, pluck, thread or use depilatory creams between sessions. Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds and self-tan on the area for two weeks beforehand. Arrive with clean skin — no makeup, lotion, deodorant or oils on the area.
Pricing is per area and per session, starting at $30 for small areas. The full list is on our pricing page. Packages and memberships bring the per-session cost down, and all services are subject to 5% GST. Your final plan and price are confirmed in writing at consultation.
Changes made on the day carry a $75 non-refundable change fee. Cancellations or no-shows without at least 24 hours’ notice carry a $75 fee, payable before rebooking — the first occurrence is a warning and the second applies the fee. Full details are on the Before Your Visit page.
All sales are final. Services, packages, prepaid sessions, memberships, gift cards and retail products are non-refundable. Any unused service balance becomes non-expiring account credit that you can use against future services or retail.
